Michael Spiers is an independent family business and we are proud of our reputation for exceptional quality, value and service.

Established in the 1950s, we now have showrooms in Truro, Plymouth and Exeter. Our Taunton store, Leath Jewellers , has kept its well established name following our acquisition of the business a number of years ago.

We believe in making all our customers feel special – whatever their budget – and our friendly and professional staff are specially trained to listen to your needs and give expert advice.

Michael Spiers has workshops in Plymouth and Hatton Garden, home of London’s Diamond Bourse. We are members of the Guild of Master Craftsmen and the National Association of Goldsmiths - and create the majority of the jewellery that we sell.

Because we buy our diamonds and gems directly from source and manufacture the finished pieces ourselves, we are able to control quality, whilst offering great value for money.

Experience is key to our success and our four directors – Keith White, Adam Spiers, Stephen Spiers and Michael Cox – lead a skilled team of individuals who are passionate about jewellery.

Michael, a qualified gemmologist, diamond expert and member of the London Diamond Bourse, regularly travels to locations such as Bangkok, Mumbai and Antwerp to bring back specially selected diamonds and gems for our exquisite designs.
